Part of the Kielder Marathon weekend, the 10k was run on Saturday 12th of October 2019.
It’s a proper measured 10K so it counts towards your Run Britain Rankings (if that’s important to you), but it’s also in a gorgeous location.
The course takes you round the Bull Crag Peninsular of Kielder Water and is claimed to be “Britain’s most beautiful” by the organisers. Being born in the area I’m a bit biased and have to agree.
It’s very well organised by a company run by another local who knows a thing or two about running; Steve Cram, and Events of the North on behalf of Active Northumberland.
